The new BestWestern hotel in Zuffenhausen uses LobbySpace to share information with its guests about the latest weather, current hotel specials and social media content. This allows existing TVs to be used as a dynamic marketing tool for hotels. “It’s a great channel to present engaging offers to our guests without having to show N24 on continuous loop,” says David Härtl, hotel director of the Best Western Loftstyle in Zuffenhausen. LobbySpace was created in collaboration with hoteliers to develop the perfect digital signage hotel software. This allows for quick operation even in the hectic daily hotel routine. Therefore LobbySpace is especially suitable for hotels that want to upgrade their lobby and don’t want to show N24 in continuous loop.
How does the hotel use LobbySpace digital signage?
The hotel uses LobbySpace as a communication channel, for example to draw attention to the new craft beer varieties at the bar or to encourage guests to go jogging together every Tuesday. The TVs are powered by Asus’ Chromebit media player. Furthermore, the BestWestern design is integrated into LobbySpace. Thus, content can be changed or added quickly.
